Tips for parents
- Say today's day in German at breakfast; it's a two-second habit with daily repetition.
- Point at a calendar while the song plays and follow the days or months with a finger.
- Link days to routines: “on Saturday we go to the park”, using the German day name.
Questions parents ask
- Is my child too young for days and months?
- Younger children can still enjoy the songs as rhythm and sound. The names make more sense once they start noticing weekends and birthdays, and the song is ready when they are.
